Medical Indemnity Workshop
The MIIAA held a workshop with key Federal Government stakeholders in August 2007 in Canberra. The workshop covered the following topics:
- An historical perspective of medical indemnity in Australia
- The industry and capital structure of the industry
- A discussion and analysis of the customer
- A briefing on the products and services offered by insurers and how they are delivered
- A discussion on the key challenges affecting the future of medical indemnity
