The MIIAA
Established in September 2005, the MIIAA provides the Australian Medical Indemnity Industry with a vehicle to work collaboratively to meet the needs of he medical profession, th community and government in Australia.
The MIIAA drives debate and discussion on the issues affecting medical indemnity insurers. This thought leadership role has been integral to the success of the MIIAA in recent years as the medical indemnity industry has been impacted by issues affecting the wider health sector. The MIIAA has firmly established its role as a leader in the health sector in a variety of ways, including through the provision of high quality submissions, presentations to the Australian Parliament and its annual Medical Indemnity Forum.
Combining this leadership role and analysis of key industry data, MIIAA seeks to guide the future of medical indemnity in Australia and influence indemnity models, system reform and risk management.
